Once the fires were extinguished body recovery took place. 

Damage extended through the outer ring (E), into the next ring (D) and some of the third ring (C).  All damage and weakened structure had to be excised equating to four times the initial destruction area to make room for rebuilding.


Documents were initially blown all over the surrounding area.  Those documents were recovered by Federal agents and every recovered document and documents in the rubble were examined for classified markings.
