This scale model of the Lunar Module hangs in the Apollo/Saturn V Center. The Center is part of tour selections at the Kennedy Space Center.
The National Air and Space Museum (NASM) located on the Mall in Washington, D.C. formerly opened on July 1, 1976. Two days prior to that while still a high school student I asked and received permission by the curator to enter and take photographs.
