I would alter it to read "Those who cannot remember - or choose to forget or ignore..."
Presidents are like anyone else having a unique perspective of things that need to be done and how to do it. There cannot be a total agreement or total disagreement with an individual simply because we are all different from each other. Each President has performed actions that have angered the population.
