Construction of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (belonging to the National Air and Space Museum) in Chantilly VA was completed and opened on December 15, 2003 becoming the home of the Enterprise. In July 2012 the shuttle DISCOVERY took the place of Enterprise and Enterprise went to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum at pier 86, 46th St and 12th Ave, New York The Enterprise was flown into Dullus International Airport in July 2004 after making several loops around the D.C. "beltway".
