What did we learn from the Apollo program?
Learning can be divided into BENEFITS and HURDLES - both of which are many. Attempting to list all the benefits from the Apollo program and indeed the programs and science leading up to our landing on the moon through current day operations would simply be exhausting. I will be focusing on three hurdles I consider must first be overcome. I am providing only a handful of links to encourage my readers to learn more on their own. BENEFITS

Specifically from the Apollo program we have discovered some hard hurdles in Lunar exploration that are likely to be faced considering the subjects of asteroids and Mars. It would be foolish to blindly target manned missions to an asteroid or Mars without mitigating these issues. This discussion begins |
