Star Trek
...the journey continues... If you like Star Trek you must visit the National Air and Space Museum. Paramount Studios donated the model used in Star Trek the Movie. It was initially in a plastic enclosure in the downstairs portion of the gift shop.
When the United States began development of the Space Shuttle for the Space Transportation System they built a prototype. NASA launched a contest to name that shuttle and Star Trek fans suggested a fitting name...ENTERPRISE.
The Enterprise underwent restoration <(<WATCH it) by Team Enterpise (I see you Michael & Denise!) . It was displayed in the Washington D.C. Air and Space Museum lobby in front of Robert McCalls A Cosmic View mural until the museum began renovation in October 2019
